A Clutch Center Plate, also referred to as a clutch disc, is a part of the clutch housing that is used to engage or disengage the transmission from the engine. This allows the power from the engine to be transmitted to the wheels. When the clutch is engaged, the clutch center plate is squeezed between the pressure plate and the flywheel, creating a direct mechanical linkage.
